I love how on tumblr everyone is like ‘be yourself’, but then when someone steps out of line, they get clobbered by the lot of you. Because on tumblr we’re apparently perfect people who never say/do anything that would offend someone else. We’re perfect little feminists who must speak out against every injustice. I bring this up because everyone is freaking out about Will. Okay, the song was in really poor taste, but it’s obvious that that is what the creator of the compilation wanted. Something dirty and offensive. It’s one instance. Also, i’d like to point out that this song/album came out this past winter. I’m sure chris knew about it, so he obviously made the choice to be okay with it.
Now, in regards to the movie poster comments. Yeah, things do get a little hairy there. It sucks, but this is obviously the brand of humor that will operates best in and you know what? It sucks, sure, but that doesn’t have anything to do with him dating chris. His comments are shitty yes, but it was nearly two years ago. Also, how can a man be homophobic when he is clearly dating/in love with another man ( this is actually a serious inquiry, is it possible?).
My biggest point is that if this is all you can find to hate him about then you’re doing pretty good. Seriously, i’m sure that he wasn’t thinking of intentionally being any kind of phobic when he wrote that post. He was making fun of a shitty movie poster and fictional characters. Seriously, making fun of period dress is offensive? Trust me, if this all you can find, he is pretty damn good. In my other fandom, one dude has managed to piss everyone off like 12 times this year alone.
And finally, it’s CHRIS’s choice. If he wants to date/ have him as an assistant/what the fuck ever you believe their relationship to be, then he can. Chris has shown us that he’s practically a genius and he has a good head on his shoulders. If he thinks Will is worthy of his time, then we just need to trust that he’s making the decision he wants and feels is best.
Sorry for ranting but it pisses me off how tumblr gets so up in arms everytime someone of any note (even just being a boyfriend gets you scrutinized) does anything wrong. Unfortunately our society is not perfect and those who result from it can’t meet your ridiculously high standards of expectations 100% of the time.

I keep seeing stuff like this and i feel so left out. yes i ship klaine but i ship everything else too. Kurt is my fandom bike. Hell, and don’t kill me, I’ve shipped him with Rachel before. So, yeah, where am i supposed to stand?

I need a fic to read as i am supremely bored and having a sad mother’s day since it’s finals week and my ex has my daughter. A new fic to read would cheer me up. I’d prefer something long. It must be complete. Must have a happy ending (characters are together or at least alive and happy). Any rating. Must be well-written. Any pairing tagged is fair game. I’d prefer a hidden gem that’s not super popular because i have read a lot of popular fics. Thanks.
